Persyn: “We are a great group”

APPIANO GENTILE - After the pause for the international break, Armando Madonna’s Inter Under 19 team are ready to face Genoa in matchday five of Primavera 1 TIM.

Tibo Persyn spoke to Inter TV about the upcoming match on Saturday and the squad’s current form (they are yet to drop a point in all their official matches between the domestic league and the UEFA Youth League): “I’m expecting a tricky match but we want to get all three points. We’re training really well, I couldn’t get on better with my teammates and the results we’ve achieved have given us a lot of confidence. The togetherness of this group is one of our greatest strengths, we are working hard so that we can have as much success as possible.”

The midfielder then finished the interview saying: “I’m feeling really good after the injury trouble with my adductors and I’m hoping I can get back on the pitch against Genoa on Saturday. I’m really comfortable playing out wide in the 3-5-2 we use; my goal is to help the team more and more.”
