The Sport CEO ahead of Sassuolo vs. Inter

REGGIO EMILIA - Ahead of Sassuolo vs. Inter, Sport CEO Giuseppe Marotta spoke to DAZN. “This is a special match because it will be in memory of a great sporting figure, Giorgio Squinzi. I had the opportunity to get to know him and he always demonstrated important values.”

This is Inter’s first game back after the international break. “We’re on a journey of improvement led by Antonio Conte. We won’t stop.”

On the subject of Alexis Sanchez’s injury: “The January market is available to the Club but the strongest players aren’t available for moves in that window. We’ll be alert to examine any potential opportunities. We have a competitive squad, obviously we’d be happier without the Sanchez injury. We’re optimistic, when Alexis comes back the attacking set-up will remain unchanged.”
