Javier Zanetti awarded a place in the Salón de la Fama in Pachuca

PACHUCA (MEXICO) - Inter Vice President Javier Zanetti has been awarded a place in the Salón de la Fama in Pachuca, thus becoming part of the international football Hall of Fame. The prize was awarded after a vote held in Madrid in April, with journalists from 35 different countries all taking part.

In addition to Zanetti, the other winners were Arrigo Sacchi, Gabriel Omar Batistuta, Didier Deschamps, Pavel Pardo, Tomas Boy, Miguel Calero, Raymond Kopa, Gustavo Peña, Tomas Balcazar, Sissi and Alicia Vargas. Javier Zanetti was presented with the award by Gerardo Martino, former Coach of the Argentinian National Team and current Coach of Mexico.
