The Nerazzurri Coach’s words to Inter TV: “I hope to find the boys fired up for our upcoming games”

MILAN - After two weeks out, Armando Madonna’s U19s return to the pitch on Saturday 23 November at 13:00 CET as they face Torino on matchday nine of the Primavera 1 TIM Championship. Here’s what Primavera Coach Madonna had to say to Inter TV: “We’re finally back on the pitch after the international break. We’ll get back together in the coming days and start to think about how best to prepare for the match. I hope to find the boys fired up for our upcoming games.

Agoumè is a humble player and he’s very keen to learn, he’s improved so much thanks to training with the First Team. He’s very important for us, just as important as Esposito, Oristanio, Gnonto and Pirola for example. They are all determined and willing to learn, training with the “big boys” is helping them a lot in their growth process,” the Coach continued.

On Torino and the upcoming fixtures: “Torino are a very experienced team and they’ve kept a lot of players from last season. I’m focused on my players and on getting back to that group that started the season so well both in the league and in Europe. We’ve got nine games ahead of us that will be complicated but also very important for our development. Our UEFA Youth League games and Coppa Italia match for example, they’ll all be very important.”
