The Nerazzurri midfielder and director of the past and First Team Technical Manager of the present celebrates turning 67 today

MILAN – Born in Como on 25 November 1952, Gabriele Oriali soon embraced the Nerazzurri colours that would go on to become such a fundamental part of his life. He arrived at our youth academy at a very young age in 1965, climbing all the way up to the First Team where he made 392 appearances between 1970 and 1983, scoring 43 goals and playing a big part in bringing home two Scudetti as well as two Coppe Italia. A world champion in 1982, his career has been constantly defined by team spirit, self-sacrifice and passion, both on and off the pitch.

He returned to Inter in 1999 to join the Club’s management team, overseeing plenty more Nerazzurri successes, and in July 2019 he made yet another return to the Club which has formed such a big part of his life, taking up the role of First Team Technical Manager.

Today, Gabriele “Lele” Oriali celebrates his 67th birthday. Best wishes from the Nerazzurri family all over the world!
