Lazaro: “We’re always fighting, an important win but not an easy one”

MILAN - Valentino Lazaro spoke to Inter TV after starting in the victory against SPAL: “An important win but not an easy one. We’re all happy, even though we know that we weren’t at our best in the second half.”

Here’s what the wing-back had to say about being deployed down the left today: “I’ve played in a lot of different positions throughout my career, today I had the chance to play down the left but it wasn’t a big issue, I’m still able to cut in on my strong foot or cross with my left. Both Candreva and myself did well down the wings. It’s nice for us to be in top spot but it’s just one moment in a very long season. Today we’re happy but we have to keep working hard and keep on fighting from game to game.”
