La Molisana SpA will be an Official Supplier of FC Internazionale Milano for the two-year period between 2019 and 2021 after an agreement was signed between the Campobasso-based pasta company and the Nerazzurri.
The partnership underlines the importance of sport for the historic pasta brand, not least because of the values with which sport is synonymous: hard work, sacrifice and a healthy lifestyle and diet.
“We’ve agreed an important partnership with Inter,” said La Molisana CEO Giuseppe Ferro. “We’re proud to be collaborating with a club that has gone down in the history of Italian and international football and is a great ambassador for sport in general, with fans all over the world. The partnership provides both parties with global exposure: we’re the fifth-largest producer of dried pasta in Italy, the joint market leader for wholewheat pasta and we export to 80 countries. La Molisana works hard to showcase the best produce this country has to offer both at home and around the world, by exporting products of the highest quality.”
According to the agreement, the La Molisana logo will be present on advertising hoardings around the pitch, in the stadium’s hospitality areas and on the Nerazzurri’s official website.
La Molisana has created a “Pasta dell’Inter” range to mark the partnership. The pasta is made from 100% Italian wheat and will be available in retail outlets complete with special packaging in the club colours.
