24 - Inter Xmas Advent Calendar: FC Internazionale Milano

"It will be born here at the Ristorante Orologio, in a gathering of artists, and it will forever be a team full of great talent. This wonderful night will give the colours to our coat of arms: black and blue against a golden background of stars. It will be called Internazionale, because we are brothers of the world."

Milano, 9 March 1908. With these words and a desire to stand out, to bring something unique into existence, the story of FC Internazionale Milano began. And it’s a story that so far has lasted over 111 years. Throughout December, we’ve accompanied fans as Christmas draws nearer through a classic advent calendar: it’s been a very Black&Blue month with phrases and quotes from Nerazzurri figures from both the past and present. Through these words, we’ve aimed to highlight what this fantastic Club is all about.

Now that we’ve reached Christmas Eve, all that’s left for us to do is wish all Inter fans and all Brothers of the World a very happy Christmas. In doing so, we recall the idea and words of 44 people who, on a starry night in March 1908 at the Ristorante Orologio, founded FC Internazionale Milano.
