Happy Birthday to Ivan Zamorano!

MILAN – Passion and commitment. Ivan Zamorano always played with the desire to leave his mark, to outdo himself and to leave the pitch having given his all. Having transferred from Real Madrid in the summer of 1996, he wore the Nerazzurri shirt for five years, immediately becoming a cult hero for the Inter fans. His journey at Inter was marked by this attachment to the Nerazzurri colours and a powerful determination that pushed him to be one step above the rest, both symbolically and on the pitch, when he literally took flight to put the ball in the back of the net. With 149 appearances and 41 goals in all competitions, the former Chilean forward made a decisive contribution in the 1998 UEFA Cup victory (he scored the opening goal in the 3-0 victory in the final against Lazio)
