Post-match comments following thumping 5-0 victory

SESTO SAN GIOVANNI – Inter defeated Napoli 5-0 on matchday 18 of the Primavera 1 TIM division, with a Mulattieri hat-trick and goals from Fonseca and Ntube sealing the win for the Nerazzurri.

Mulattieri had the following to say after today’s match: “I’m delighted with my hat-trick but even more happy with the team’s win. We did well to score early on, it wasn’t easy given their defensive mindset. This made things easier for us from then on and the win was deserved. In recent matches, we’ve been punished from the first opportunity that the opposition has had, but now we’re getting back to form. We need to continue down this path to achieve more success.”

Armando Madonna also spoke about the game: “Today’s match has allowed us to gain a deeper sense of awareness. We started well and the victory is a deserved one. We’re in good shape and need to continue what we’re doing. The win in Florence no doubt contributed to today’s performance, it gave us more belief. The team are working well and our strength lies in the collective group.”

As regards Gnonto’s position and new arrival Satriano: “We’ve been working on playing Willi in a new tactical position for a few weeks now. He’s a player who can play in various roles. A bit more sacrifice is required, but he has the right attitude to do well. When it comes to Satriano, we need to get to know him better. He has desire and plays for the team, he’s a good footballer. He’s settling in really well.”
