Bastoni: “An important victory, we're a great group”

DÜSSELDORF – Alessandro Bastoni played a brilliant part in Inter’s ruthless semi-final win. It was a dazzling team display that deservedly gives the Nerazzurri a spot in the final. The young centre-back spoke to Sky Sport after the game: “I didn’t expect to play so much, I’m improving a lot and happy to be part of such a strong and close group.  We're working on the defensive side of things a lot and, while I still need to get better in many aspects, the numbers from recent games prove how much this team is growing. I have fun when I’m playing. A lot of things have changed in a year: I came from playing at Parma and, on Friday, we’ll be playing in a European final. But I continue to have fun on the pitch and do what the Coach asks of me.”
