Handanovic: “There’s a lot of bad feeling, but this must be a starting point”

COLOGNE – After the Europa League final against Sevilla, Samir Handanovic spoke to Sky Sport: “There’s a lot of bad feeling, but we need to keep going forward. As I’ve already said, it’s a point of departure and we hope to play in many more of these games. I think that the game could’ve gone differently. It was a meeting between two open teams that wanted to win.” What can we take from this experience into next season? “As a starting point, we definitely need to improve in these types of games. We’ll prepare as best we can. Sevilla are a tough opponent. Congrats to them but we need to look forward.”
