Our Nerazzurri midfielder’s words to Inter TV after tonight’s win

BENEVENTO - The goal to make it 2-0, the assist to make it three, and a shot against the crossbar to keep him from getting a second. Roberto Gagliardini was right at the heart of Inter’s 5-2 win at the Stadio Ciro Vigorito this evening for the postponed matchday one in Serie A.

“We started strongly, I think the game was always in our hands,” said the Nerazzurri midfielder when speaking to Inter TV. “We’re working hard, we’ve been with the Coach for over a year now and we’re fairly well drilled. We need consistency, I’m happy with my goal and with the win.”

Speaking about his partner in midfield tonight, our Inter No.5 explained: “It went really well with Vidal, playing alongside him is fairly easy, he knows the game so well along with every possible phase of play. He’s here to help us out and I’m sure that we can achieve great things together. The quality has risen considerably with the new arrivals, I think we’ve got a lot of options and a lot of players. Everyone has a part to play.”
