The Slovakian defender made his first appearance of the season in Inter's 5-2 win against Benevento today

BENEVENTO – Milan Skriniar made his first appearance of the season today, starting in Inter’s 5-2 win away to Benevento. Following the match, the Slovakian defender had the following to say to Inter TV: “We’re happy about the fact we scored five. It’s a shame that we conceded two, but we deserved to win.”

"New players have arrived this season, and they’ll lend us a hand. Hakimi is one example: he’s very fast and is a good player, while he also knows how to defend. He’ll certainly help the team considerably.”

It’s now time to focus on Sunday’s match at the Olimpico: “A very tough match awaits against Lazio, they have very good strikers and are good on the counter. We have one recipe for success: fight together for the team.”
