The MVP from Benevento vs. Inter is...

MILAN – Three points, five goals, the woodwork hit twice, great football and a lot of excitement. Inter’s second outing of the season started in excellent fashion, with Lukaku opening the scoring after just 28 seconds. The Belgian striker went on to bag another, while Hakimi (his first Inter goal), Gagliardini and Lautaro Martinez also all managed to find the net. Through our Twitter poll, Inter fans were able to choose their MVP from yesterday’s showdown. The man that received the most votes was... Hakimi!

There were four players in the running:

Hakimi, who netted his first Nerazzurri goal and registered his second assist of the season | 61.7% of the vote share

Sanchez, who was heavily involved in play, getting involved in 14 duels, taking three shots, providing an assist and supplying the pass to Hakimi prior to the Moroccan’s cross for Lukaku to bag the opener. | 23.1%

Lukaku, who bagged a brace and scored the fastest Serie A goal since February 2019 | 8,5% 

Gagliardini, who, in addition to finding the net, hit the bar and completed 42 passes in the opposition half | 6.7%
