ROME - Among the best on the pitch at the Olimpico, Stefan de Vrij gave a few thoughts to Inter TV about the 1-1 draw between Lazio and Inter: “It was a great game between two strong teams who both tried to win: a draw can happen.”

“There are many players who are now heading off for international duty, there are always many commitments. We need to recuperate and try to be in the best shape possible. We played well but were ultimately just missing something. Although that’s just how it went, we are still disappointed by the draw. We came to win and are disappointed we didn’t.”
