Both players find the net in La Roja’s 2-2 draw against Colombia

MILAN – On matchday two of World Cup qualifying, Chile played out a 2-2 draw with Colombia at the Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos, with the Nerazzurri players involved leaving their mark.

La Roja’s goals were scored by Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez. After Jefferson Lerma put Colombia ahead in the first few minutes, Arturo Vidal earned and converted a penalty in the 38th minute with a powerful right-footed strike. Three minutes later, Alexis Sanchez, the captain of the side, expertly skipped past the goalkeeper and fired into the net to make it 2-1. Colombia then netted an injury-time equaliser through Radamel Falcao.

Both Vidal and Sanchez played the full 90 minutes of the match.
