The standings and the Nerazzurri's upcoming fixtures

Inter returned from Madrid without points after a dramatic game full of chances that ended 3-2 (you’ll find analysis and highlights here). The clash at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano kicked off shortly after Borussia Mönchengladbach beat Shakhtar Donetsk 6-0 in Ukraine. It was a win that has since reshaped Group B after matchday 3 in the Champions League.

The Nerazzurri are bottom of the group after two draws in their first two matchdays and the recent defeat in Madrid. However, the group remains open to change. Below are the rankings, results and a list of fixtures yet to be played. Inter will be back in the Champions League on 25 November at San Siro against Real Madrid.

Borussia's 6-0 victory is the Germans’ biggest ever in their history in the Champions League: it equalled their largest victory ever in the European Cup, 6-0 against EPA Larnaca in September 1970.
