Oriali, our First Team Technical Manager and unforgettable Nerazzurri star, turns 68 today

MILAN – Happy birthday to Gabriele Oriali! Born in Como on 25 November 1952, he embraced Nerazzurri colours at the tender age of 13, where he first joined the Elite Academy, and then made his debut in the First Team in 1970, where he remained until 1983. He played 392 matches, scored 43 goals and won two Scudetto and two Coppa Italia.

A remarkable Nerazzurri star, and 1982 World Champion, he was a talent on and off the pitch. His football intelligence, along with his spirit of sacrifice, teamwork and dedication, are values that inspired his return to the Nerazzurri Club in 1999. He was part of the managerial staff and contributed to a long line of successes.

Oriali and Inter found each other once again in June 2019, when Oriali became the First Team Technical Manager. In February 2020, he entered in the Hall of Fame of Italian football, the prize being established in 2011 by Fondazione Museo del Calcio and FIGC.

On this day, Inter Milan FC and all the Inter fans wish Gabriele “Lele” Oriali the most wonderful birthday!
