A look back at the best pieces of play that led to Nerazzurri goals | VIDEO

MILAN – Inter finished 2020 with 108 goals to their name, with numerous Nerazzurri players having got on the scoresheet thanks to some spectacular pieces of play. Inspired individualism, wonderful ideas, backheels and perfectly flighted balls that transformed into perfect assists, allowing Antonio Conte’s men to find the net.

While Romalu Lukaku was Inter’s top scorer in 2020 thanks to his 35-goal haul, Alexis Sanchez was the man who registered the most assists: ten in fact. The Chilean finished ahead of Nicolò Barella (nine) and Lautaro Martinez (eight) in this regard.

Our Top-10, which provides a list of assists in chronological order from most recent to least recent, starts with Brozovic’s brilliant lofted ball for Hakimi to make it 2-0 against Bologna and finishes with Sanchez’s pass to Vecino during Inter’s 4-2 #DerbyMilano victory on 9 February.

These are our ten standout assists from 2020:

Brozovic for Hakimi: Inter vs. Bologna

Kolarov for Perisic: Inter vs. Parma

Young for Lautaro: Atalanta vs. Inter

Barella for Lautaro: Real Madrid vs. Inter

Hakimi for Lukaku: Inter vs. Fiorentina

Barella for Lautaro: Inter vs. Shakhtar Donetsk

Bastoni for Lukaku: Inter vs. Getafe

Sanchez for Young: Inter vs. Brescia

Eriksen for Lukaku: Inter vs. Sampdoria

Sanchez for Vecino: Inter vs. Milan
