The Nerazzurri defender had his say after the defeat to Sampdoria

GENOA - He made his Inter debut in Genoa last year. This time, though, the trip to face Sampdoria wasn’t as pleasant for Bastoni, as the Nerazzurri were defeated 2-1 by the Blucerchiati. After the game, the Nerazzurri defender spoke to Inter TV: “We were a bit unlucky. We got a penalty but missed and, five minutes later, we went behind. This is a misstep, but we haven’t lost in many games, we won’t stop.

“We had chances. The pitch isn’t an excuse; we couldn’t score and now we need to shift focus to Roma. We know our own worth; it’ll be a huge six-pointer at the Olimpico and we’ll go there to win.”
