Primavera TIM Cup, Inter 3 - 0 Crotone

MILAN - At the Suning Training Centre, Armando Madonna’s Inter beat Crotone 3-0 in the round of 16 of the Primavera TIM Cup. On the scoresheet for the Nerazzurri were Casadei, Satriano and Akhalaia. Inter U19 are now through to the quarters, where they will face the winner of Atalanta vs. Lazio.

The Nerazzurri made their territorial dominance pay in the 24th minute, as Vezzoni sprinted away down the left and put in an inch-perfect cross for Casadei, who guided it home with his head. Inter’s second was almost a perfect mirror down the right of their first goal: Persyn’s cross and Satriano’s header into the corner. The first half ended with our boys firmly in the lead, and deservedly so.

It was more of the same after the break as the Nerazzurri dominated proceedings, scoring almost instantaneously; Satriano win it on the byline and cut it back for Akhalaia to make it 3-0. The half continued with Inter very much in control of the tempo and possession. Crotone sat back and tried to counter, but never once threatened Magri’s goal. Akhalaia hit the post late on but it remained 3-0 and the Nerazurri are into the quarter-finals of the Primavera TIM Cup.
