A goalless draw at the Suning Training Centre. Rovida denies a penalty from Sekulov

"On the 11th matchday of the Primavera 1 TIM, Armando Madonna’s Inter drew 0-0 against Juventus. There were lots of chances but no goals: Satriano and Fonseca hit the bar, as did Juventus’ Cerri. Towards the end, Rovida’s save against Sekulov’s shot from the penalty spot proved decisive.

The first half was balanced: Inter came close to taking the lead on two occasions, with Satriano putting Garofani under pressure both times, but to no avail. Juventus were also dangerous, especially with Cerri: in the 25th minute, the Bianconeri centre-forward was only just stopped by Rovida’s crossbar. As the first half came to a close, Satriano had a goal denied for being offside.

There were chances at both ends in the second half: for Juventus it was Cerri and Soule who caused most trouble, and for Inter Fonseca was the second Nerazzurri player to hit the bar. Minutes before the final whistle, Vezzoni brought down Turicchia in the box: from the penalty spot, however, Sekulov was denied by Rovida, who saved his attempt. Just before injury time, there were two big opportunities for Madonna’s team, first from Akhalaia and then from Bonfanti, who both fumbled the opportunity to secure the three points for Inter. It finished with a clean sheet for both sides: 0-0.
