Bonfanti's goal was enough for the Nerazzurri to claim their third win on the bounce in all competitions

BOLOGNA - A third consecutive victory for Armando Madonna’s Under-19s, who were victorious in Bologna on matchday 14 in Primavera 1 TIM.

The Nerazzurri started well at the Centro Tecnico Niccolò Galli and caused the Bologna backline a scare within the first five minutes: first through Vezzoni’s menacing cross, which was somehow dealt with by Molla, and then by Satriano cutting in from the right. The hosts’ first chance came in the 20th minute as Roma whipped in a cross from the right but Juwara couldn’t direct his headed effort on target. On the half-hour mark, Inter got back into the Bologna box with a fantastic bit of play from Iliev, though he was finally stopped after a fine piece of defending from Montebugnoli.

At the start of the second half, Inter opened the scoring after a moment of madness from Molla. The Rossoblù goalkeeper miscontrolled a backpass from Milani, allowing Bonfanti to stroke home into an open goal. Ten minutes later, Inter almost had a second through Tonoli, whose attempted volley from Sangalli’s free kick was not far wide.

In the final fifteen minutes of the game, Armando Madonna’s boys pushed for the second while Bologna didn’t manage to trouble Rovida. There was no further change to the scoreline and, after three minutes of added time, referee Antonino Costanza blew the final whistle. The Nerazzurri, for the time being anyway, overtake Roma to claim top spot.
