Inter Youth were cited as a clear good example thanks to the introduction of preventative protocols against abuse in the world of sport

MILAN - This afternoon, a virtual event titled “Violence in Sport, a global phenomenon” took place. The event was organised by the “Changethegame, against abuse in sport” association, who have, for a few years, been actively involved in the fight against violence and abuse in sport.

The event, the focus of which revolved around FIFA’s announcement of the creation of a global agency against abuse in football and in sport, saw many members from the global governing body of football in attendance, as well as representatives from the US Center for SafeSport and the Harvard Medical School. The Inter Youth Sector was also present at the event, represented in person by director Roberto Samaden. The Nerazzurri’s youth sector was cited as a leading example of a Club – the only one in Europe – having introduced and carried out, a few years ago now, a preventative protocol against abuse in football. These topics, as well as many others, full under Inter’s “Educational roject” as the Club have always been alert in terms of the growth and learning of players both on and especially off the pitch.
