Another day of international football with World Cup qualifying filling the gap left on Sunday with no Serie A. Three Nerazzurri were in action.

ITALY WIN IN BULGARIA, SENSI AND BARELLA START

A second consecutive win for Roberto Mancini's side, who are level with Switzerland in Group C with six points from a possible six. The Azzurri beat Bulgaria 2-0 at the Stadion Vasil Levski in Sofia thanks to a first-half Belotti penalty and Locatelli's strike late in the second half. Stefano Sensi and Nicolò Barella started in midfield alongside Marco Verratti. Barella played the full 90 minutes, while Sensi came off in the 68th minute for Locatelli. Alessandro Bastoni was an unused substitute.
