A goalless draw at the Stadio Breda in Sesto San Giovanni

SESTO SAN GIOVANNI – On matchday 17 in the Primavera 1 TIM division, Inter and Spal played out a goalless draw at the Stadio Breda following an uneventful affair. The Nerazzurri now sit in third on 30 points in the league.

Armando Madonna’s side had the better of the opening half an hour and came close to opening the scoring through Fonseca, who was unable to connect with a ball that only needed to be diverted into the net. The visitors started to play higher up the pitch as the half drew to a close, with Inter goalkeeper Stankovic forced to intervene on at least two occasions.

There were very few opportunities after the restart too. Spal did more of the attacking at the midway stage of the half, while Inter tried to push forward late on. However, neither side could find a winner and it finished 0-0.
