Guard of honour from Sampdoria for the Champions of Italy

MILAN - Today, A tribute was paid by Sampdoria to Inter, the Champions of Italy. Before kick-off, Claudio Ranieri’s team, with their coach amongst them, welcomed the Nerazzurri onto the pitch in two single-file lines. 

In Spain they call it the "pasillo de honor”, in English we refer to it as a Guard of Honour. It was a gesture much-appreciated by the Inter squad, who walked onto the pitch welcomed by applause and hand-shakes from their opponents. This special gesture was capped by the hug shared between Ranieri and Conte.
