MILAN – Prior to today’s match, the fans gave the team a triumphant arrival. Then, the Nerazzurri produced a magnificent performance against Sampdoria, running out 5-1 winners to celebrate their Scudetto win in style.
At the end of the match, the team gathered in the middle of the pitch. Although San Siro was empty, it was full of love for the Inter colours. ‘Siamo noi, siamo noi, i Campioni d'Italia siamo noi’ (‘We know what we are, we’re the Italian champions’) were the words that could be heard as the players, Coach Conte and all his staff sang and celebrated together.
After a classic group photo had been taken, the team ran towards the Curva Nord, something which has become a tradition after a win on home soil. It was another display of appreciation for the Nerazzurri faithful.
