A rounding success for the Nerazzurri who return, on their own, to the top of the table

SESTO SAN GIOVANNI - Armando Madonna's U19s return to the top of the table (+2 over Roma and Sampdoria), on matchday 29 of the Primavera 1 TIM championship, overcoming Bologna with a well-merited 2-0 scoreline. The goals of Satriano and Oristanio decided the match. Against Atalanta in Zingonia on the last round, the Nerazzurri will only need to draw to guarantee access to the semi-finals of the Scudetto.

After a slow start to the game, Inter rose through the gears and in the 14th minute moved into the lead thanks to Martin Satriano’s goal: The Nerazzurri striker with an unstoppable left-footed shot to beat Prisco.

For the remainder of the half, Bologna tried timidly to get back in it, but Madonna's eleven controlled the game and went into the break ahead by a goal.

Early in the second half Satriano came close to his 15th goal of the season, the number nine hitting the crossbar from a good position. Immediately after there was a very dubious moment: A sensational effort by Lindkvist kissed the crossbar and seemed to cross the line entirely, but the referee let the game continue.

In the 62nd minute Oristanio’s free kick hit the crossbar. The misfortune continued for Inter, as four minutes later Zanotti hit the woodwork with a good header.

Inter made their pressure count in the 77th minute with Oristanio getting the second. His left-footed shot from inside the area flew past Prisco to seal a two-goal advantage to Madonna’s team.

Inter U19 controlled the final minutes, sauntering to a 2-0 win which brings them to the top of the Primavera 1 TIM championship table.
