The defeat against Spain sees Slovakia bow out of the tournament: The Nerazzurri defender lasted 90 minutes on the pitch

Skriniar's journey with Slovakia at Euro 2020 comes to an end. Coach Tarkovic’s national team were eliminated following their 5-0 defeat against Spain that began with Dubravka's own goal and compounded by the goals of Laporte, Sarabia, Ferran Torres and a Kucka own goal after a save by Dubravka on Pau Torres. Milan Skriniar started the match and remained on the pitch for the full 90 minutes. As such, Group E wraps up with Sweden qualifying in first and Spain in second, with Poland closing out the group.
