The Nerazzurri fitness coach chats to Inter TV about laying the groundwork for the new campaign

APPIANO GENTILE – Fabio Ripert is a fitness coach who joined Inter from Lazio with Simone Inzaghi. He spoke to Inter TV about what it means to start over with a new team.

What was it like starting a new season alongside Inzaghi and what were the first things you did in Appiano?

“I've been working with Inzaghi for 12 years so it was only natural that I should come to Inter with him. The first stage of our work was adapting to the new club and getting to know the players. After that, we turned our attentions to specific planning for the season.”

Was the hardest part getting on the same wavelength from the start?

"This is a new group of players for us and we're getting to know each other. They have to adjust to our training methods and we need to create a positive working environment so that we can perform at our best throughout the season.”

What do hope to achieve personally and as a team?

“I hope to put my skills at the service of Inter and the team. This is a successful club and we can achieve great things together. There's already a very good platform here for us to build on: we must try to maintain it and improve it.”
