San Siro gallery: Welcome back, Inter fans!

MILAN - The last time was February 2020, Inter v Napoli in the Coppa Italia. Then came the pandemic and empty stadiums, except a few rare occasions with crowds of no more than 1,000.

The summer of 2021 brought the Scudetto to Inter, European Championship glory for Italy, and now, finally, the long-awaited return of the fans to the Stadio Meazza.

27,402 Nerazzurri souls were there for Inter v Genoa - and they were treated to a show as Inter brushed the visitors aside with goals by Milan Skriniar, Hakan Calhanoglu, Arturo Vidal and Edin Dzeko (report here).
