Skriniar in the Champions League Matchday 2 Team of the Week

MILAN - Milan Skriniar's gritty, cool-headed and dominant performance against Shakhtar Donetsk didn’t go unnoticed. The Slovakian defender, who had already come away from Kiev with the Man of the Match award, has been included in the Team of the Week for Champions League Matchday 2.

Inter's imposing centre back was also nominated for the 'Player of the Week' award, which was won by Sheriff Tiraspol goalkeeper Giorgos Athanasiadis, who played a key role in his side’s triumph over Real Madrid. Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane and Benfica’s Darwin Nunez were also in the running.
