MILAN – FC Internazionale Milano has taken action to help raise awareness and provide aid for people suffering from hunger as part of World Food Day, held annually on 16 October.

An Inter delegation visited Opera San Francesco per i Poveri, which offers free food and assistance to people in financial hardship. Nerazzurri vice-president Javier Zanetti, academy players Lorenzo Peretti and Amadou Mata Sarr and two club employees helped serve lunch at the Milan-based non-profit association

Inter's Official Pasta La Molisana did its part by donating over 1,000 kilos of pasta, while the club's Official Rent-a-Car Lacauto also contributed.
