UCL: Danny Makkelie to referee Inter v Sheriff Tiraspol

The Dutch referee will officiate Inter’s third Group D match in the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League

MILAN – Danny Makkelie will referee Inter v Sheriff Tiraspol in the Nerazzurri’s Group D match in the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League. The matchday three contest kicks off at 21:00 CEST on Tuesday 19 October.  Hessel Steegstra and Jan de Vries will be the assistant referees, while Joey Kooij will be the fourth official. Jochem Kamphuis and Pol van Boekel will be on VAR duty.  The Dutch referee officiated Borussia Mönchengladbach v Inter in last season’s competition as well as Inter v Sevilla in the 2020 Europa League final.
