MILAN – Inter’s win, Joaquin Correa’s stunning brace and the roar from the San Siro faithful were just some of the highlights of a fun-filled day for Nerazzurri supporters. There was no shortage of emotions on or off the pitch during the special Inter Club fixture, from San Siro to Inter HQ.
Tributes to over 100,000 active members all over the world came in different shapes and sizes, such as the special kit worn by the team during the match, including the names of almost 900 active Inter Clubs written in the squad numbers. The jerseys are still available for purchase here until stocks last.
In the coming days, some of the jerseys worn by the Inter players during the match against Luca Gotti’s charges will be put up for auction on Charity Stars, with the proceeds to be donated to Inter Campus.
Emotions were also running high in the stands at the Meazza on Sunday afternoon when an Inter Club Pesaro member proposed to his girlfriend, making for an unforgettable Inter moment that was recorded and displayed on the jumbo screens at the stadium and on the club’s official social media channels.
There was a tribute on the LED boards that showed special messages of thanks on several occasions to the 10,000 strong Inter Club members in attendance at the ground and all those scattered around the world.
For 30 lucky Inter Club members, the day began with another special initiative at Inter HQ, which consisted of a guided tour of the trophy room, where they admired the club’s 19th Scudetto trophy in the flesh and were given the classic celebratory jersey for the birthday of when their Inter Clubs were founded.
