Hategan appointed for Shakhtar Donetsk encounter

Nerazzurri to host the Ukrainian outfit in the Champions League at 18:45 CET on Wednesday

MILAN – Romanian match official Ovidiu Haţegan will oversee Wednesday's Champions League Group D Matchday 5 fixture against Shakhtar Donetsk at the Stadio San Siro  (18:45 CET kick-off).

Haţegan will be assisted by Mihail Grigoriu and Sebastian Gheorghe, with Radu Petrescu as fourth official. German officials Christian Dingert and Marco Fritz will be VAR and VAR assistant respectively. 

Haţegan has officiated the Nerazzurri on two previous occasions: Barcelona 2-0 Inter in the  2018/19 Champions League and Inter 0-1 Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League in the same season.
