The Dutchman’s goal at Salernitana allowed Inter to break a club record for Serie A goals in a calendar year

SALERNO – The wing-back’s goal to put Inter 2-0 up at Salernitana was significant in terms of milestones, as it was the club’s 100th Serie A goal this calendar year, setting a new record. The previous high was 99 back in 1950.

Denzel Dumfries discussed the match at the Stadio Arechi in his post-match interview with Inter TV.

“We played well as a team. Everyone was very good. There was a lot of movement with and without the ball.

“We are an experienced team with a lot of experienced players who keep focused and I think the rest follow their example.

“I think we have a big future ahead and we will grow as a team.”
