Lenovo player of the month: December voting now open!

Inter wrapped up the month of December with a 1-0 win over Torino to go into the Christmas break sitting at the top of the pile on 46 points, four ahead of AC Milan.

Simone Inzaghi's side won all five Serie A games during the month, scoring 15 and conceding none, with just an away defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League.

After winning the award for November, Perisic has had another highly impressive month, turning out a string of top performances with a goal against Salernitana.

Calhanoglu scored two sensational goals – against Roma directly from the corner flag and a superb long-range finish against Cagliari – while continuing to dish out assists. He now has six goals and seven assists to his name this season.

Lautaro found the net four times over the course of the month: against Spezia, Cagliari (twice) and Salernitana. 

Dumfries meanwhile scored his first goal for the club against Roma and quickly followed up with his second and third, against Salernitana and the match-winner against Torino.
