The Nerazzurri will be back in action on Wednesday at 21:00 CET. Ref Sacchi appointed for the round of 16 of the Coppa Italia.
MILAN - Juan Luca Sacchi, from Macerata, will be the referee for the Frecciarossa Coppa Italia round of 16 between Inter and Empoli, scheduled for Wednesday the 19th of January at 21:00 CET at the San Siro.
Sacchi will have Bottegoni and Margani as his assistants, while the fourth official will be Colombo. Giua will be the VAR for the match, with Vivenzi as the assistant VAR.
Sacchi oversaw the Nerazzurri in the 2-0 win over Udinese on the 31st of October 2021. He was also the referee for a previous match in the Coppa Italia, a round of 16 win against Pordenone on the 12th of December 2017 .
