DigitalBits Goal of the Month | Hakan Calhanoglu wins December competition

MILAN – There were ten goals in contention from games involving the men’s first-team, Inter Women and the club’s Primavera side, but there could only be one winner in the end. Hakan Calhanoglu’s superb right-footed strike from the outside the box against Cagliari came out on top and has been named the DigitalBits Goal of the Month for December. The Turkish midfielder’s pearler at San Siro was his sixth goal of the season, hot on the heels of the stunning strike straight from a corner away to Roma, which also made it onto the shortlist.

As of December, voting for the DIGITALBITS GOAL OF THE MONTH enables Interisti to enter a competition to win incredible prizes. This time around, VIP tickets to watch the win over Venezia on 23 January, a DigitalBits jumper and Hakan Calhanoglu’s limited edition jersey as part of Inter Santa Clues were all up for grabs.

This season’s goal of the month kicked off with Federico Dimarco’s free kick against Sampdoria in September, followed by Edin Dzeko’s volley against Sheriff in the Champions League in October.
