D'Ambrosio: "A convincing performance"

MILAN - There was no getting past him. Danilo D'Ambrosio played a blinder: closing down attacks, important tackles, and even contributing in Inter's attack. He played an important role as the Nerazzurri came out 2-0 winners over Roma in the Coppa Italia. He spoke to Inter TV after the match:

"We responded to Saturday's defeat by getting through this round, but above all by putting in a convincing performance. We wanted redemption. Our game management was better than in the derby; we gave them few chances and doubled our lead.

"We played as a team and now we're focused on Napoli. It'll be a huge game as they're also fighting for the title."
