 Lautaro Martinez scored not one, not two, but three goals to give Inter a convincing lead against Salernitana on Friday. He overcame his goalscoring drought in the 22nd minute, latching on to an assist from Nicolo Barella to slip it past Luigi Sepe. Hunger and determination characterised the performance from “il Toro”, hitting the bar before he broke the deadlock midway through the first half. No one was going to stop him from taking the ball home after getting his hat-trick.
