The Argentine legend turns 47 today

MILAN – Talent and artistry: these words define the way Juan Sebastian Veron played football, expressing himself with passion and authenticity. Born on 9 March, the same day Inter celebrate their birthday, he forged a close relationship with the Nerazzurri thanks to his talent and charisma.

“I'll never forget my time living in Milan. I got to know the lifestyle there and what it means to be an Interista."

The Brujita starred from the Nerazzurri between 2004 and 2006, playing 74 times and scoring on four occasions. The highlight of these strikes came on 20 August 2005 when he scored the decisive goal in the 2005 Italian Super Cup at the Stadio delle Alpi.

Veron was pure footballing talent and had a large hand in Inter winning one Scudetto, two Coppa Italias and one Italian Super Cup.
