Argentina played the penultimate match of their qualifying campaign for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar on Friday, beating Venezuela 3-0. The Albiceleste, who had already secured their place at the tournament, won against the bottom-placed team in the qualifying table thanks to goals from Nicolas Gonzalez, Angel Di Maria and Lionel Messi. Joaquin Correa started the match and played 64 minutes.
