Brozovic and Calhanoglu make Opta's Serie A 2021/22 dream team

MILAN - Hakan Calhanoglu and Marcelo Brozovic have been named in Opta's Serie A 2021/22 Team of the Season.

This means that Brozovic has picked up another accolade having been selected as the Lega Serie A Player of the Season.

Below are the reasons why Opta chose both Inter stars.

BROZOVIC Serie A: 35 games, two goals, one assist Out of the midfielders to make at least 25 appearances in 2021/22 Brozovic has the highest pass completion percentage: 92.5%. He also made the most successful long passes: 202.

CALHANOGLU Serie A: 34 games, seven goals, 12 assists Hakan Calhanoglu set up seven goals from dead ball situations, more so than any other player. He also created 88 chances, a league best among midfielders.
