A complete striker who was strong in the air and always composed in front of goal, Aldo Serena is a legendary figure in Inter's history. He was one of those centre-forwards who was able to leave a mark through his determination, elegance and crucial goals.

During his seven seasons with the Nerazzurri, he made 223 appearances and scored 78 goals in all competitions, playing a crucial role in some unforgettable triumphs. The incredible 1988/89 season where he finished as the league's top scorer is etched in everyone’s memory – a legendary campaign that ended with the record-breaking Scudetto. He also won the Supercoppa Italiana, the UEFA Cup and the Coppa Italia in Inter colours.
