Happy birthday, Walter!

Today, Walter Zenga, one of the purest and most authentic symbols of Inter history, turns 65 years old. Zenga was not only a great keeper. He embodied Inter in between the sticks: his charisma, perfect technique, and love for Inter made "Spider-Man" one of the Inter family's all-time most loved footballers. After work in the youth sector, Walter made his way up through the ranks, building character and talent. Until 1982, when he came home: from then, he spent twelve magnificent years in the first team, protecting the Nerazzurri goal with pride and passion. With him in net, Inter won the record-breaking Scudetto, an Italian Supercup and two UEFA Cups, writing pages into our history books. And, how can you forget the three years from 1989-1991 when he was crowned the best goalkeeper in the World. In 2018, he also received another award that sums it all up: Walter Zenga became the first goalkeeper to be inducted into the Nerazzurri Hall of Fame. It is a prize that establishes a unique and deep link with the fans that will never forget him.
