The Austria decided the game with a huge winning goal against Fiorentina at San Siro on Serie A matchday 24

He headed home the winner in a difficult, tiring and important match, but also showed great heart and a lot of grit. Marko Arnautovic took the starring role in the victory against Fiorentina with the tenth header goal scored by Inter in Serie A this season.

It was the first league goal for the Austrian, who had already scored in the Champions League and Coppa Italia this season. A crucial goal, which put the match 2-1 up, came from Carlos Augusto's cross. A header that is also a big moment in the Nerazzurri's season as it secured three golden points.

Arnautovic, subbed on for Marcus Thuram in the 28th minute, came on and hit the ground running with an early shot. After the break, he scored the winner before making way for Taremi late in the day.

“I really wanted it. We're all pleased with the goal and the win. It's been a difficult period because I haven't been scoring. I missed a lot of chances. Finally, the goal has come, thanks to Carlos' assist. I'm really happy because it's a really important goal. We've gained groun on Napoli but there's still a long way to go this season. If you're coming off the bench and making sacrifices all week, you need t be at 100% to show what you can do on the pitch. I came on early, without having warmed up a lot, so it's normal that there are some issues. I felt a bit of cramp but I don't think it's anything serious. I think I'll be available for the next game.”
